New Artworks, Junk On the Right

Stuff like Painter has been around for a while, and it's definitely a big step towards what feels like a real brush, but Photoshop's new suite really shoves that forward several notches. Stuff like smashing the brush tip into the canvas or just getting a nice sweeping curve, that's where this goes. Ain't perfect, but it's a big step forward in making a brush feel like what it is, a three dimensional object.

Anyway enough art nerdery. Pirate down below.

I also added that Cool Stuff section over on the right. Mostly for me. I suck at remembering the cool stuff I find on the internet. So everything in that box will probably be as new for me as anyone else.

New site up
Yessss, it's yet another new site design. I pick at the design of my website incessantly like you'd pick at a snaggle tooth. Except there's usually less blood afterward. I didn't throw out everything this time because I wasn't annoyed with all of it, just some of the bits. I didn't throw out everything this time because I wasn't annoyed with all of it, just some of the bits. Decided the undersea theme wasn't really worth doing if I wasn't going to really have some fun with it, so I went back to the drawing board and added more fishies and pirate references. And jellyfish.

I've also added this post system. Which will probably be useful except that I've always been completely wretched at remembering to update the thing regularly. You tell yourself to work at that sort of thing but I'll be damned if anyone makes any progress on things like that.

There's still a couple of minor issues here and there with this thing, mostly miscellaneous weirdness with Opera (and I'm only putting that down here as a reminder to myself to fix it).

How 'bout that Opera? The Tiny Tim of the browser world.

Anyway, enjoy the fishies...
